What if the South had won the Civil War

Towards the end of the Bible in the Book of Revelation, it states as follows,

And I solemnly declare to everyone who hears the words of prophecy written in this book: If anyone adds anything to what is written here, God will add to that person the plagues described in this book. And if anyone removes any of the words from this book of prophecy, God will remove that person’s share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are described in this book.  

Revelation 22:18-19 NLT

Since the presidential primary election in 2008, the issue of racial relations has been magnified in a rather vitriolic degree, particularly when the first African-American president by the name of Barack Obama was elected, the numbers of racially-motivated crimes and pro-Nazism groups were on the rise, and this is not only limited to politicians and conspiracy theorists, even television personalities are not immune to this escalation.  This disturbing trend has been going on since what was described as “the darkest period in the American history”, and while there was some improvements made during the early days of the Civil Rights movement, the constant threat remains as of late.  I was listening to the sermon this morning, and the guest Reverend made a comment that has been reflecting to what I have told other brothers and sisters in church weeks and months prior,  Just because numbers of another race who become Christians increased steadily, the numbers from white people departs from that church increased because they could not stand the numbers of non-whites Christians are on the rise.  Sadly, such idea contradicts what Jesus had commanded his disciples to do as he raised to the heaven, “… and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8b), for starter.  However, in order to comprehend the negative reactions made by those who has affiliation with Nazism & other religious and political extremists, we need to search for connections that would lead to such path, as well as the consequences of allowing the same people who had rampaged the country with hate & vitriol once before to lead the country for real.

Since the days of ancient times, in order to control of population of another races and driving down the labor cost, most leaders in the Old World enslaved mass of foreigners as labor from warfare with other nations or by force through any means necessary. This environment continued on in the centuries since the discovery of the New Continent between Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, and throughout the 1500s to early 1850s that slave market was one of the most profitable business. Tens of thousands of Africans from the colonized territories in their home world were brought in as slave labors, and the country in it’s earliest days was very comfortable with that environment. Additionally, the idea of freed slaves was quite foreign to the Americans, to the point that those who reviewed the Constitution in those days even wrote many legislation that sided towards the slave owners. That all changed when Abraham Lincoln decided to challenge such conventional wisdom by declaring the abolition of slavery, and those from the Southernmost states and part of the beltways vehemently opposed to that legislation, and they declared secession from the Union and formed a new nation called the Confederate States of America in an effort of keeping the institution of pro-slavery laws. Thus the five-year Civil War erupted, and the country was suffering with heavy losses and casualties from both sides. In 1865, however, the South surrendered and the War had ended – but not without firing a parting shot (literally) against Lincoln through an assassination.  Still The South would not relent as the loyalists of the Confederate masked themselves in white cowl and hood, rampaged through various neighborhood that populated with the emancipated slaves and began torching a cross in front of their homes, dragging them into the streets and brutalized them and lynching the freshly beaten caucuses to tree branches – just to scare the former slaves from roaming freely in the neighborhood. When that idea didn’t deter them, the white supremacists pushed their ideal to the Congress by drafting a Constitution amendment into keeping the former slaves from ever integration into their society in order to keep racial purity of total whiteness firmly intact.   Thus the darkest chapter in the history of the United States began, which is known as racial segregation;  and such legislation had a ripple effect as they inspired other similar legislation like poll tax, and restrict voting rights towards minorities, denied citizenship against other foreigners like Chinese and other Asian descents in the decades ahead, in particular, the infamous Chinese Exclusion Act, which was an attempt to eliminate any Chinese from coming into the country to escape their environment since the aftermath of 60+ years of warfare between the Qing Dynasty and western power like England, France, and Spain.  Further legislation introduced ports of entry in Ellis Island in New York and Angel Island in San Francisco Bay Area, to further prevent such immigration from occurring.  Those laws remained in place for almost 50 years until December 6, 1941 when the Japanese military launched a surprised attack against United States Naval Base in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Even though the war has been declared by the Congress and Franklin Roosevelt, the President of the United States during that time, there were still some uneasy feelings towards those who are not non-whites.  Those fears including whether they would be loyal to this country that “allowed” them to remain around.   However, as the nation required more and more able bodies to fight against Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan, those differences were set aside during the war.  Still, the country remained segregated when World War II has ended, and injustice still pressed against immigrants and minorities who are already in this country.  However, that all changed when Jackie Robinson became the first African American to play professional baseball, as with Jim Brown and Gayle Sayers in American football, and Bill Russell in basketball.  Even when they faced immeasurable prejudice based upon their skin colors, they made major marks in professional sports in the United States.  Then, as the 1950s came and went, people’s attitude towards Africans with hostility began to diminish – except in the South, where endless streak of violent crackdowns and illegal lynching persisted at the hands of the largest force in that region – the Ku Klux Klan – and their stern supporter in George Wallace, the Governor of Alabama.  Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, and other Civil Rights leaders drew the ire of Wallace and the Klan with their protest against racial inequality.  As the Civil Rights movement moved towards the 1960s, the iron grip of Wallace attempted to quash the peace protests via blockades and unfair arrests of King and others along with crackdowns, but the movement was too strong after 3 northern Democrats were brutally murdered by the Klan a few years earlier.  Eventually, the Federal government forced to realize such inequalities only held back any progress in the nation’s democracy, and dispatched national guards to protect the peaceful protesters in spite of protests from the likes of Wallace.  By the 1970s, racial integration has finally become the norm for the country; unfortunately,  the Klan still managed to recruit the next generation of race baiting figures as the 1980s approached.  Then, as Ronald Reagan became the President of the United States, the likes of the late Morton Downey Jr., and Rush Limbaugh became the voice of the new conservative movement, and the Klan saw that as an opportunity to align with that movement while pushing agendas of racial exclusion and inequality at the same time.  However, they couldn’t really make that idea as many of the African-American descent presidential candidates had not passed through the primary election – until 2008 when Barack Obama became the Democratic candidate for the presidency.  Then all the vitriol that was last seen in the 1960s reared its ugly heads, Limbaugh, Ted Nugent, Glen Beck, Sean Hannity, the entire Fox News Channel, and even the Vice-President candidate from the Republican Party that year Sarah Palin, began rambling in endless of fear-mongering, distasteful, despicable insults, and countless of untrue statements, racially intolerable political cartoons, and  false biography about his religion and policies on Obama on a daily basis; and the trend continues on when Obama became the President, and the Tea Party took the vitriol into the stratosphere while the Republicans (and a few Conservative Democrats and Joe Lieberman) essentially holds all legislation hostage on a daily basis with blatant and reckless disregard, to the point that the sole purpose is to disintegrate the federal government that has existed since the founding of this country, so that a president who firmly believes in Nazism in its entirety returns to the “White” House, and relaunching the most sordid policy last seen during the Second World War by Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945 towards the Jewish people in concentration camps and death camps across Europe.  While their efforts has been averted during the last presidential election in 2012, the racial tension persists by Limbaugh and his cohorts from the so-called Conservatives.

For those of you who are wondering why I brought up Revelation 22:18-19 at the beginning of this article, if you have been reading the historical perspective from the last two paragraphs, you can tell where I am heading.  Sadly, what I am about to reveal frightens me even more so than any other people who attempted to topple by other means imaginable.  Therefore, I am forewarning all readers of the following comments as it is not for the faint of heart.  Now, here we go with my commentary without further a due: For the last few months as I read through various sections in the Bible, as well as listening to numerous sermons in my church including one that is fresh in my mind, is that to relay this sort of message that some Conservatives who I know may find it ridiculous, yet as we look around the streets as of late, I have been sensing very uneasiness in human relations, never mind racial relations, as our current economy was, to be very blunt, decimated by the current crop of corporate tycoons and crony capitalists who have essentially gerrymandering all aspects of states and federal government into bowing to their knees, thus allowing them to build massive offshore accounts for further corruption with willing labor unions and government officials from foreign nations – for the sole purpose of raking massive profits with blatant disregards to the greater society with zero investment towards domestic infrastructure construction unless it’s to further damaging natural resources and daily necessities until we have no way of consuming them with excessive poisoning – particularly with water and food supplies.  At the same time, that future leader will wrongfully square all the blame towards immigrants and minorities who have been struggling to make a living as is with meager salary that has not been elevated since the 1980s – all the while by endlessly condoning the Klan of committing series of massacres, forced labors, illegal seizures of properties from everyone else, and genocides until racial cleansing have totally been accomplished and leaving the Aryan white race happily living in the country and the world with properties that don’t belong to the Caucasians at all.  If all that still don’t satisfy their greed, try imagine all the Aryans aren’t just bowing down to those confiscated properties while drinking the blood of the poor, they are bowing with all the limps on the ground in front of the portrait of one Adolf Hitler, the most evil tyrant in Europe that instigated the Second World War, and here comes the worst part of them all –  that Hitler enslaved God & Jesus in one swoop and replacing them as the true symbol of Aryan religion.  Now, why am I making such assertion in a time like this? That’s because KKK is coming back in full force with supporters like above-mentioned Ted Nugent, who has been making ridiculous notions by falsely declared that he would be in prison if Obama becomes the President – even though Nugent has never been arrested FOR 5 YEARS STRAIGHT – even for threats made to the president’s life, that he still has thoughts of it.  On top of that, his vision towards guns is at the level of apocalypse was coming by the current presidential run, to the point that he sounds more like a certifiable madman who not only thinks the government must be dissolved by his hands with massive storage of arms, they must not have any safety devices installs from accidental discharge and the Armed services and law enforcement must NEVER BE allowed to stockpile any ammunition FOREVER.  Glen Beck and one of the most psychotic conspiracy theorist by the name of Alex Jones, had made similar assertions about our government with endless hate-mongering vitriol that they think the current federal government is illegitimate until a Nazi loyalist becomes the next President of the United States.  This is the type of lunacy that these radical nutcases would stop at nothing to bring this country down, not only you have the sorts of capitalists who only cares about money and screw the country out of necessary reinvestment with infrastructure construction to rebuild the whole country for further investments towards education and healthcare, they don’t want anyone to have a share of even a dime from their pockets even after death.  If all of that prophecy doesn’t rock your conscience to the core, then you just don’t understand what God had created man and woman like you and I originally intended to be: never to pollute the water, air, and earth as we were created by God to manage all the creatures and environment that we are living in.  In other words, something like a piece of legislation that proposed to allowing offshore drilling on both coast for oil that had once polluted the same Pacific Ocean during the 1960s with a massive oil spill, is not what God wants us to do.  If God had already punished us once before with an oil spill, don’t be surprise that God will punish us even worse than just oil spill and poisoning fish and other sea creatures.

This, unfortunately, doesn’t just apply to white supremacist movement.  Any and all people who thinks Jesus as a myth, in reality, is part of this topic as those believers add on nefarious & vile verses that are not part of the original scriptures, while Nazism had blatantly omitted or subtracted all non-whites from the Scriptures, and those Judaisms practically denied what Jesus really is while also without ever realizing even David, as well as Judaism followers ALIKE were children once – especially when God does not follow those sorts of rape and pillages on the Scripture itself.  I was reminded by Reverend Tan during today’s sermon that Christianity is not just for one particular race like the white supremacist organization around the world are suggesting, nor it can be raped and mutilated by those who refuses to believe God and opted to add on other earthly rules that God literally disgusts about.  The real target audience for the parable of the Lost Son (Luke 15:11-32) are the likes of the white supremacists, and alongside with those who have already believed that for the truth of Christianity is to spread the Gospel to non-believers around the world, and not just limit to one’s own comfortable surrounding.  Otherwise, why do we have Jesus in our hearts at all?  If that stubborn pride of ours is more important than having a relationship with those who we don’t know, then what our belief in Christ is just a piece of paper that has nothing but blank space in it.

Now, what might have happened had the South won the war like Ted Nugent had suggested? First, any and all industrial development that occurred during the Industrial Revolution would have either never happened or permanently galvanized solely in the South; the rights and privileges within our nation’s constitution would have tilted solely in favor of the Whites 24/7/365; all minorities who have been here would only be called as “foreigners” with the naturalized citizenship be revoked, and with a high potential of deportation; all the revenues remains in the South with the North are left in either ruins or become “puppets” of the South; and here’s the frightening parts of them all:

1. Nobody dares to stand up against slavery as they would certainly meet with death by either execution via firing squad ON THE SPOT or lynching people at the nearest tree wherever they can conveniently find within neighborhoods, all for the public display as a warning to all not to speak up against Confederate States laws; to the point
2. All the textbooks, as well as religious materials – particularly with The Bible – would be scripted preached with falsehood of God and Jesus as being whites, God only creates one master race in Aryans, and only Whites can go to heaven while all other races around the world must be eradicated with extreme prejudice.
3. The eradication of all cultural significances from the so-called “inferior beings” (i.e., the rest of the world), and firmly established Aryan-only culture, which including English-only in reading and writing.  In addition, the history of other nations would be falsely proclaiming as non-existence, and anyone who tries to revisit the actual history would be met with immediate execution in a public display.
   

If anyone thinks all of that are just full blown bologna and crazy talk, then please explain why trollish vitriol was spilled out like river of blood when the announcement of the top two places of Miss America 2014 – particularly with some numbers of choice words against the winner of the pageant Nina Davuluri.  This is not what the United States is SUPPOSED to be about, but the far right is determined to force the “Aryanization” on this country by implementing the Southern strategy into the Conservative movement within the Republican Party, resulting into what we have seen time and time again for the past 5 years.  Coincide with such ideology is one that was promoted heavily from a Russian-born American author who was in contempt towards Christianity with reckless abandonment, and sign the praises of absolute greed from the wealthy by promoting class warfare against the sick, the elderly, and the poor with extreme form of depraved indifference, and thus creating an out of touch with reality version of world society.  The name of this author is Ayn Rand, born Alisa Zinov’yevna Rosenbaum.  Her distasteful views toward true Christian value in showing compassion towards the most vulnerable community in the poor was literally highlighted in the novel “Atlas Shrugged”, which she spelled out her delusional social views of “only the strong (wealthy) survives” and denounced everyone who is not wealthy as lesser beings.  Does that sound familiar? It should! Considering that’s the same stand that the Nazis had used during their height of power, Ayn Rand added the one group into the ideology by slighting all the poor, and minorities IN ALL SHAPES AND FORMS.  So what happens if these two matters join forces? May I present you the far right affiliated Tea Party and their legion of mindless, ignorant and thoughtless minions.  The likes of Allen West and Herman Cain were so ignorant towards what their own communities are really telling them, instead they keep using their beleaguered knowledge towards history and falsely believe that they would be immune from the Neo-Nazi movement.  Then, there are the core of our nation’s real plight as the gerrymandered GOP districts, during the last two elections that including the presidential election in 2012, opted to elect a group of pro-conspiracy, total lack of compassion, and anti-government lawmakers whose sole purpose was to damage the reputation of our current president Barack Obama, who has been valiantly yet sometimes misguidedly attempt to change the norm in Washington through progressive laws since his first inauguration back in 2009, with blatantly discontent and, once again I’ve used this term, reckless abandonment through series of out-of-touch pro-monopoly style legislation that would only benefit the highest 0.01% of income bracket by ensuring them no new taxes would be levied on the high earners while oppressing the remaining 99.93% of population with beyond affordable tax rates.  What that does is to maliciously collapse the world’s economy while reinstating any and all pro-slavery and anti-minority laws from 150 years ago, and revert the living-wage employment back to “corporate slavery” by the Confederate South.  Thus creating a new-fanged world economy that, in effect, essentially promoting a massive genocide against the absolute majority of human population via massive starvation, mass suicide due to being levied with heavy debts created by irresponsible and heartless tax laws that pushes those who had followed the laws that were written prior to such endless massacres across the world.

So, here’s a 5-trillion dollar question for the conservatives who has no compassion while claiming on following the teaching of the Bible: Do you really think that’s what Jesus had taught his disciples by leaving the most vulnerable section of society into desolation and annihilation? Is this what you mean of having one race through God’s eyes by declaring the world must be Aryan-only civilization? Is that what you think?  Here’s my answer for you.  Quoting The Rock (once again), “IT DOESN’T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK!!!” The fact of the matter is regardless of the skin color, political spectrum, or anything else in between, WE, THE HUMAN RACE, ARE GOD’S CHILDREN.  Noah didn’t not love just one of his sons who was pale-skinned, HE LOVED ALL HIS CHILDREN.  But what the FUCK did we do (excuse my language) instead? WE MUTILATED THAT LOVE AND INSTEAD SPILLING ENDLESS VITRIOL LIKE THE OIL SPILL BY THE EXXON VALDEZ IN 1989.  That is NOT what God wants, but that’s what you, the so-called “Conservatives”, are trying to deliver the final blow IN SPITE OF what God had SPECIFICALLY instructed.  What you are, instead, is no difference than THE PHARISEES FROM 2000 YEARS AGO.  While claiming that you are following God’s path, yet you NEVER show any compassion to all your neighbors, rich AND POOR, young AND OLD, ALL races and genders – even when we don’t condone of what sordid behaviors they have done.  Compassion is NOT a weakness, but embracing the dispassionate hatred because everyone ELSE does not look, speak, and act the same IS.  But the South just can’t let go of their “glorious” past, it’s no wonder Jesus said this to his disciples just before being persecuted and died on a cross (Matthew 24:4-14):

⁴ Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. ⁵ For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. ⁶ You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. ⁷ Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. ⁸ All these are the beginning of birth pains.

⁹ “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. ¹⁰ At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, ¹¹ and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. ¹² Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, ¹³ but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. ¹⁴ And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Lastly, for those who want to create a “master race”, here’s my advice from (once again) “The Rock” Dwayne Johnson, and it goes like this:

You can shine that idea real nice, and then you can stick that idea into you own candy asses! If you smell what The Rock is cooking!
